So, we're still fat, and we drink too much! Now the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reports that binge drinking is a bigger problem than previously believed, with more than 38 million U.S. adults binge drinking an average of four times a month, downing at least eight mixed drinks every time.

Every year since 2002, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management has asked a group of U.S. government employees how happy they are with their jobs. This year, the "group" will be all 1.8 million of them. Government workers weren't quite as happy in 2011 as they were in 2010, but then, their pay was frozen and they almost got shutdown. Results of the massive survey will be used to create the 2012 version of the list of Best Places to Work in Federal Government. [Learn more...]
