Legislation would help Vermont gain access to drug database
Aides to Gov. Peter Shumlin are looking for ways to overcome patient privacy concerns at the state Health Department as they prepare legislation that would give a select team of Vermont State Police drug investigators access to a confidential database that tracks the dispensing of prescription medications.
Chevy Volt Not a Fire Risk, NHTSA Finds
 In a final report on an investigation that began last November 25, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has determined that all-electric Chevrolet Volts are no more likely to catch on fire after serious collisions than traditional gasoline-powered vehicles.
