Komen for the Cure to suspend its funding of Planned Parenthood organizations, it should be noted that the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), through the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (NBCCEDP) provides free breast and cervical cancer screening services to low-income, uninsured, and underserved women nationwide.
